Premier Live-Edge Fireplace Cal Coast Local artists handcraft mantels from live-edge coastal redwood slabs. Sawn with a flat back and wire-brushed (living) front, the mantel is 7 feet long. Wire brushing enhances the grain pattern for a gorgeous effect. Old Master stain (Spanish Oak) and three layers of furniture-grade clear coat complete the mantel.
The widths range from 1/8" to 1" every running foot due to the natural taper of the slabs they are sawn from. This mantel measures 2.375" (left), 3" (middle), and 4.75" (right).
